Our founder, Erin Shriver, is an accomplished artist who produces a limited number of original hand-painted, mixed media silk pieces of wearable art. Following the ancient art of gyotaku (Japanese fish impression), traditional French serti methods and several specialized techniques she has developed over the years, Erin uses natural materials from fish to shells to fronds to help create her beautiful works. Every one of them takes days of hands on attention to complete with each process following another in a carefully choreographed plan.

In addition, our buyers search the world to find interesting, comfortable fabrics to use for our fun and functional island wrap skirts. Perfect as beach sarongs or evening wraps, these unique pieces will help keep you in an island mood.

Also available are exclusive sarongs fashioned from vintage fabrics that we work hard to source. Soft, fun and funky materials highlight these unique skirts.

Presently, our distinctive resortwear is available at Kamalame Cay on Andros Island in the Bahamas, online through this site and by commission. Prices range from $200-$300 for hand-painted silks, $90-$150 for vintage fabric pieces and $70-$100 for our resort line.
